Current Job Openings:
- User Interface Specialist / Icon Designer
(Ongoing/Contract Work)
- Responsibilities: Help us create unique and captivating icons for our software applications. This includes larger application icons, as well as smaller toolbar and other UI elements. Depending on skills, time constraints, etc., we may also have other sporadic graphic design/UI projects that you may be asked to help with.
- Requirements: Your past samples and work are more important to us than a formal education (Although it definitely won't count against you). We would also prefer that you have a strong background with Macintosh user interface design principals, and are familiar with all of the intricacies of the Mac platform and design specs. Please do not send any samples or attachments to us, we'll contact you directly for more information if we're interested.
- Ideal Candidate: A longtime Macintosh user, along with some basic working knowledge of the Windows platform as well - and it's general UI requirements. You will be mainly working on software application projects that will be targeted to the Macintosh OS X platform first, so an in-depth understanding of the Mac OS X GUI, HIG, etc. is essential.
- Programmer - With Audio Development Expertise
- We are looking for an experienced software developer with an understanding of audio analysis and related programming skills. You will need a firm understanding of C, C++. Also, any experience with REALbasic and the REALbasic plugin SDK would be extremely beneficial.
- Knowledge of the PortAudio libraries, FFT, DFT, and other advanced audio programming skills are required. Ideally, you should have a good understanding of Fourier transform algorithms for the Macintosh and Windows platforms (Similar, but platform-optimized functions would be preferred).
- You will be working on both Macintosh and Windows software applications.
- Software Engineer - Macintosh OS X
(Ongoing/Contract Work)
- Responsibilities: Develop and implement product features and components according to the specifications of the Macintosh OS X environment. Experience with the Microsoft Windows platform is also a big plus, since most of our products are cross-compatible with Mac and Windows.
- Requirements: A minimum of three years of experience in a product-oriented development effort. Strong skills in Mac OS X, C, C++, Assembly (Helpful, but no required), and OOP development in general.
- Ideal Candidate: Experience with Cocoa, and Mac OS X "Aqua" development techniques. Knowledge of Apple's Aqua Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) will definitely be a plus. Prior experience with MS Windows and cross-platform joint development will also help. Many of our products are released for both Mac OS X and Windows, which requires special considerations and time constraints.
To apply, please submit your resume and an informal note telling us what you would be interested in working on. Also, please include your website URL (If available) and/or any other URLs that show your previous work/samples.
